Mary Kate Olsen is the daughter of Jarnette and David, and was born in Sherman Oaks. She was born on 13th June 1986. Her father was a developer of real estate and a mortgage banker while her mother was a personal manager. Her twin sister is an actor and business person like herself while another sister Elisabeth and brother Trent are actors. Mary Kate Olsen started out on her acting career along with her twin sister Ashley at the young age of just nine months. Her acting career was a very successful one and her independent movie career started in 2006, without her sister.
